On Sept. 23, about 45 people listened to Rabbi Elan Babchuck discuss his new book with Rabbi Josh Bolton, executive director of Brown RISD Hillel, at the Dwares Jewish Community Center in Providence. Babchuck’s book, “Picking up the Pieces: Leadership after Empire,” written with Kathleen McShane,
Rabbi Babchuck serves as the executive vice president at Clal, the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, and the founding executive director of Glean Network, an incubator and network for faith-based entrepreneurs.
After the program, there was a small group discuss program in the first meeting of a joint community book group.
