Lunch and Learn at Tamarisk: The Many Blessings of Masekhet (Tractate) Berakhot

Temple Emanu-El takes their adult education classes on the road! All are invited to join us for a lunch and learn with Rabbi Michael Fel at The Phyllis Siperstein Tamarisk Assisted Living Residence. Together, we will explore Masekhet (Tractate) Berakhot through a historical, literary, and spiritual dimension. As we swim more deeply in the sea of Talmud, we will gain a better understanding of prayer, the choreography and liturgy of Shabbat and Weekday services, and how to incorporate prayer/mindfulness into our lives.
