Temple Sinai Adult Study Course: "The Prophets"

From the 8th century to the 6th century B.C.E., ancient Israel developed a new kind of leader. The Hebrew prophets were public spokesmen for G-d who goaded, chided, and inspired Israel to live according to the will of G-d. Rabbi Goldwasser will lead an adult study course, "The Prophets," to explore the words of prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah and Hosea and to reflect on how to apply their teachings to our times. These classes will be held at Temple Sinai on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. on June 4, June 11, June 25, and July 2.
